Data safety at a glance
Takdo stores account and contact information, booking records, business/staff listings, uploaded photos, reviews, messages, support records, and service preferences. Precise location may be used with permission for discovery and map selection. Device identifiers, request/security logs, and notification information support operation and security.
Data is used for app functionality, account management, bookings, support, security and moderation. Relevant booking information is shared with the selected business. Public listings, business photos and approved reviews are visible to other users. Takdo administrators can access customer and business records for operational support and safety. We do not sell personal data.
Hosted data uses Supabase. The app uses HTTPS and authenticated access. Local caches and pending changes support offline recovery. These safeguards reduce risk but do not guarantee absolute security. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted against Takdo administrators.
Takdo does not process or hold customer payments for business services. Pay the business directly and request its receipt. Never send card numbers, passwords, government IDs or medical records in booking notes or chat.
Business subscription payments
Business subscriptions purchased in the iOS app are billed by Apple. Takdo receives transaction identifiers, product and offer identifiers, subscription dates, payment amount and currency, and purchase/refund status to manage access and billing support. Apple processes the payment credentials; Takdo does not store full card details. Customer payments for appointments remain separate and go directly to the business.
Your controls
Manage location and notification permissions in iOS Settings. Edit account details in Profile. Delete an account under Account management. For access, correction or other privacy requests, use Contact Takdo. Guest records remain tied to the guest identity; creating a customer account can preserve access across devices.
Getting help
Contact Takdo in the app for account access, booking-platform issues, privacy requests, security concerns or inappropriate content. Include the booking reference and a short explanation, not sensitive credentials. Support is not an emergency service and response times are not guaranteed. For immediate danger contact local emergency services. Contact the business directly for its service, billing, refund or cancellation policies.
